Step 1: Your Campaign Goes Live

After you have set up your campaign so it fits your schedule, criteria, budget, and funded your account; you can launch your campaign.


We begin showing various ads specific to the product you are selling to consumers that may be interested.


Millions of consumers see the ad, typically 1 - 3% of them are interested and decide to click the ad to get more information.


After clicking the ad, a consumer is taken to a new landing page and given general information and benefits about your product.


If the consumer is still interested, the consumer fills out a form to collect their information. Typically, only about 5 - 20% of consumers take action and fill out the form.


Consumers typically want to meet for the following reasons, a quote, learning more, or to speak with a professional to get answers to their questions.


Once the consumer has submitted the form the next part of the process kicks off.

Step 2: Lead Qualification Begins

TCPA Compliance - We've partnered with ActiveProspect & Jornaya to assist in checking that each lead delivered to an agent has given written consent to be contacted and retains a video recording of them submitting their information on the form.


Ad Fraud Check - We've partnered with a leader in ad fraud detection, Anura. Anura is able to detect if a lead is fraudulent by checking the IP address, user-agent, and other data points. Anura allows us to filter out leads that may have come from a bot or someone entering false information.


Phone Number Validation - We use an industry leading phone number validation company that ensures the phone number for the lead is valid and in-service. This filter is 95% accurate. Please alert us to any disconnected numbers that slip through.


Product Specific Filters - Leads are filtered using several data points depending on industry and product. These filters include age, ownership info, property value, and others. Based on the lead quality data that our users provide, we make decisions to determine if a lead is considered high quality. If it doesn't meet our standards, the lead is thrown out.



Step 3: Finalizing Charge & Payment

At this point, the lead has been qualified and is ready to be delivered to YOU


We charge the payment method you selected for the campaign when you created it.


Once the finalized payment has gone through we are able to push the lead through.

Step 4: We Connect You With The Lead

The lead is qualified and we want to help you close the sale.


We send an automated text message & email to the lead letting them know your name and that you'll be reaching out soon.


We'll send YOU a text message and an email notification letting you know that you have a new lead!

Live Transfer Calls - Our system gets the lead on the phone with a call center agent to qualify them before initiating the transfer to you. This way you can focus on selling instead of dialing for dollars.


Once the call center rep has connected, they validate all of the information for accuracy including, name, date of birth, email, and address.


Prior to sending the transfer over, the call center rep invites the lead to speak with a sales agent and obtains clear verbal permission to perform the transfer.


Our software sends the call out to the agents whose geography, availability schedule aligns with lead details, and clicks to answer the call.


The first to click gets the live transfer. The algorithm knows which insurance agents have a higher answer rate, so make sure you answer!


Inbound Calls - Our system will check the lead for validated information and then send the call to your the number you input during campaign creation. (Note: do not use a number that requires you to press 1 to continue).


We want to connect you with the call as fast as possible to increase the chances of a sale.

Step 3: Finalizing Account Deduction

At this point, the lead has been qualified and is ready to be delivered to YOU.


The cost is deducted from your balance when you accept the call and get connected with the consumer.


We deduct the cost from your account balance.

Lead Interaction Time

Leads are a consumer looking for the product that you offer.


When you shop for a new watch, it's unlikely that you pick one and go straight to the purchase counter. You try a couple, see if they fit, look good, etc.


Online shopping for any product is the same.


It's likely they are looking in multiple places, to combat this, you need to be the first person to contact them.


If you are the first person, it's more likely they will trust you as a professional to provide them with the help they need.


Try to reach out within 5 minutes of receiving a lead.

Speed Wins

Following Up Is Key

Leads won't always answer their phone and email.


In fact, most people don't answer their phone at all when it's from a number they don't recognize.


Research shows that it can take up to 12 touchpoints before reaching an inbound lead.


Be sure to call, email, text, and leave a message for leads multiple times until they answer.


Try to build up a relationship even if they aren't responding because at the end of the day, they don't know who you are and they do not have to respond to you.


If you deliver value to your lead and set yourself up as a resource for them, you will find sales.

You must answer the phone in a professional manner that gives the customer a sense of trust and reliability.

You can answer the phone by saying, "Hello, this is [your name] from [business name], a licensed agent in [state], who am I speaking with today?" or something close to this.

Your Answer Rate Should Be High

It's critical to answer calls when your phone rings. If you're not available to take a call, be sure to pause your campaign.

When you miss calls, it negatively effects your ability to create consistent lead volume, the lead trying to connect with you, and other agents will get the call instead of YOU.

The higher your answer rate, the more volume you receive from LeadStream Lead Portal.

If you miss 2 calls in a row, your campaign will be automatically paused by the system.

Establish A High-Level of Trust & Credibility

With live transfers and inbound calls, you need to build trust with the consumer fast.

When you get connected, be sure to establish rapport, trust, and credibility.

Let the consumer know exactly what you do and the process over the next few minutes.

You should be able to build trust with the consumer in the first minute or two.

Follow Up Consistently

Don't get down if you provided a lead with a quote and it doesn't proceed to a sale, don't give up!

People get busy and forget, be sure to consistently reach out to them over the following weeks.

They spent time with you on the phone, so it's clear that they had some level of interest. 

In fact, you may have to retrace and remind them of the problem they were trying to solve.

Many agents find that they close sales after following up 4 or more times, often weeks later.

Don't Be Desperate For A Sale and Rush It

How do I create a campaign or create a lead order?

Creating a campaign is super simple! To begin, click the "New" button on the campaign page.

You will be guided through a few steps on screen to launch your campaign. If you still need assistance, call in!

How do I pause my campaign or lead order?

You can pause or resume your campaign at any time. For a Real-Time Exclusive Lead campaign, you will need to have received your minimum 20 leads before you can pause. 

For pausing, just click the toggle on the campaign you wish to pause. If it's green, your campaign is turned on! 

Click the toggle and it will turn gray and your campaign will be turned off.

Once your campaign is paused you will not receive any leads until you resume it again

How do I fund my campaign or lead order?

To launch a new Campaign, you must have a balance that can purchase a minimum of 20 leads real-time leads in whatever product you are purchasing or 10 warm/live transfer leads.

Once your campaign is launched and your balance falls below the amount needed to purchase another lead, your campaign will automatically pause and you will be notified via email. 

If you don't want to worry about your campaigns being paused, you can enable Auto Recharge when you create a campaign or at any time from the Billing page.

You can also make a one-time deposit to your LeadStream Lead Portal account from the Billing page and view your billing history. To find the Billing page, click on your name in the top left corner and you'll see Billing in the dropdown that appears.

What is Auto Recharge?

Auto Recharge is an optional convenience feature which allows you to automatically add funds to your account when your balance falls below an amount that you specify.

You can toggle this feature in the billing settings. 

Click on your name in the top left-hand corner, and click on billing.

How do I access my leads?

You can access all of your leads from the My Leads page.

Your newest leads will appear at the top of the list.

Are the leads exclusive?

Yes, all of our leads that come to you via a campaign are real-time, exclusive leads for 21 days.

After 21 days, if no sale has been recorded or the lead is no longer being worked, the lead will be available for purchase on the Aged Lead Marketplace.

How are real-time & aged leads generated?

All of our real-time & aged leads are generated on the internet - via Facebook, Google Ads, and landing pages owned by our partners, which is a marketing website and Facebook page that is used to generate leads and educate prospects.

We also work with vetted 3rd-party partners to ensure that we are able to meet lead flow demands and to extend our exposure to popular sites like insurance.com. 

When a prospect in your area responds to an ad, they become a lead and are delivered to your campaign immediately.

After an exclusivity period of 21 days, if the lead was outside of the agent's criteria, no sale was recorded, or no longer being worked, the lead is dropped into the Aged Lead Marketplace for purchase.

What if the prospect said they already have insurance?

Just because they already have insurance doesn't mean you can't sell them more, review their insurance, or cross-sell.

If you feel the lead isn't up to par in other ways. Alert a representative.

What if I can't reach a lead by phone?

Many agents will stop by the house. If you can't reach the person by telephone.

Attempt to contact them in other ways such as email or texting. 

Not being able to reach a lead does not qualify for a replacement.

What is the cost of leads?

The cost varies depending on the product and campaign type. You can see all costs inside of the LeadStream Lead Portal before purchase.

Here is a breakdown:

Realtime data leads range from $15 - $25 per lead.

Aged leads range from $3 - $2.50 per lead depending aged time.

Warm Transfer leads at this time are $65 - 75 a lead.

Inbound leads range for $65 - $75 a lead.

What is a live/warm transfer lead?

A Live Transfer is a call that is dialed directly to your phone.

When you answer, a call representative will introduce you to an interested consumer who has agreed to speak with an agent.

What is an inbound call lead?

An inbound call lead is an interested consumer that responds to an advertisement. They call you directly.

The call & lead comes straight to you.

How do I make myself available to receive calls?

You will simply log into the LeadStream Lead Portal when you are ready to receive calls and set your campaign to active.

If you go idle for 5 minutes, you will receive a 60 second warning that will pause your account until you get back on.

You can manually turn your call campaigns on and off at anytime.

Do I need to set a schedule for call campaigns?

Nope! You can turn individual campaigns to "active" when you are ready to receive calls.

As long as your campaign stays active, you'll be ready to receive those calls.

Remember, you can only be active to receive calls from one campaign at a time!

How does the billing work for live/warm transfer & inbound calls?

For calls, you are charged the moment the call is connected. If the call disconnects within the first few seconds or is dead air the system will automatically credit you back.

If you don't answer a call, we will pass it to a different agent in your area.

What locations are available for live/warm transfer & inbound call campaigns?

A live/warm transfer or inbound call campaign will target an entire state (or multiple states).

Due to limited call volume, we are not able to narrow down to geographical targeting to areas smaller than an entire state.

When are the live/warm transfer & inbound call leads called for the call campaign?

The leads are called Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM EST.

What happens if I miss a call?

If you miss two consecutive calls your campaign will automatically pause.

This is to ensure that active users are being prioritized.

Simply resume your campaign when you're ready to take calls again.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not. All sales are final.

We will issue credit for leads that do not meet our standards.

What is the replacement policy?

Every lead has been reviewed to meet our standards.

If you feel the lead is not adequate, you may contact us.

We will review the lead and make a final decision on whether the lead meets our standards or not.

Most leads do meet the standards.

If it doesn't you will be issued credit.

What if I get duplicate leads?

If you get a duplicate lead within any 60 day time frame, we will issue lead credit.

Duplicate leads should be caught by our system, so you shouldn't need to worry about this.

What if the number is disconnected when I call?

This could be a temporary issue, continue to call back, text, email, or even stop by the house.

If it is still disconnected after several attempts to connect over time, please alert us immediately.
