Why You Should Sell Medicare Advantage vs. Medicare Supplement (And When)?
Here are quick tips about why you should sell a Medicare Advantage product over a Medicare Supplement. Traditional Medicare has no annual out of pocket cap on expenses and Medicare Advantage does. The plan pays for all covered expenses once you hit the limit.
Most Medicare Advantage plans include a prescription drug plan, enhanced vision and dental coverage as value added services. If your client can't afford or qualify for a Medicare Supplement then Medicare Advantage is your answer don't leave money on the table!
Misconceptions Agents Have About Medicare Advantage Plans
AHIP (America's Health Insurance Plans) Certification is extremely hard to pass.
AHIP is just like any other test in your career. You'll study, take practice test, and better yet. You get three chances to pass. You didn't get that from your english teacher in high school.
I have to take AHIP (America's Health Insurance Plans) every year?
The simple answer is yes. Every year we suggest setting aside about two days and knocking it out for each carrier you sell Medicare Advantage for. Why? Do you want to continue to get your commissions? YES, then just do it.
CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) has too many rules. CMS has many rules but overall they are simple to follow. Such as don't say "FREE or BEST". don't mention it unless approached, and don't cold call. You get the point.

After a brief conversation with our representatives we will forward you a link to our onboarding application online.
Will I get paid directly?
You will be paid by the carrier, period. We will never ask for you to assign your commissions to us or be an LOA (Licensed only Agent). Ever.
What are my commissions?
We normally start people at street level and deliver the schedules straight to your inbox. With proof of production higher levels are available.
Once I'm approved what's next?
After you have been approved you will be sent a carrier portfolio that shows all the carriers we suggest in your area.
Can I get a pre-release agreement?
Yes, simply request the agreement. You will sign it, then we will sign it and send you a copy.
Do you have leads?
We provide lead resources, not a lead program. We like to give agents multiple sources to get leads at negotiated prices putting you in control instead of one source that forces you to buy leads whether the need is there or not.
